Additional Notes on Pricing Rules

The following notes explain the fee structure, service stages, and lower-entry service options behind the pricing reference table.

1. Contingency Fee: Calculation Rule

The contingency fee is calculated as X% of the additional financial value secured for the client.

Contingency Fee = Additional Amount Secured × X%

Examples

  • Assets recovered from a third party through legal action;
  • Assets that the client could not previously obtain but later recovered through legal services.

2. Full-Scope Marriage-Crisis Services: How the Engagement Is Divided into Stages

For full-scope marriage-crisis services, the engagement is divided into two stages.

Stage 1: Advisory Stage

Services: investigation and analysis; communication coaching; negotiation support.

In Stage 1, the team intervenes early in the marriage crisis to help the client clarify the facts, define her objectives, and assess the appropriate strategy.

Stage 2: Litigation Stage

Services: litigation as a fallback option, initiated only when necessary.

Whether the matter proceeds to litigation depends on how the case develops. This avoids pushing the client into a high-cost solution from the outset.

3. Divorce-Litigation Paths: How the Litigation Stage May Proceed

This section provides further detail on the Stage 2 litigation process. It should remain visually secondary to the full-scope marriage-crisis service.

Path 1

The first divorce claim is heard at first instance by a primary-level people’s court. If the court grants the divorce but the client is dissatisfied with the property division or child-custody decision, the case may proceed to a second-instance hearing before an intermediate people’s court.

Path 2

The first divorce claim is heard at first instance by a primary-level people’s court. If the court does not grant the divorce, a second claim may be filed after six months. The second claim is again heard at first instance by a primary-level people’s court, with any appeal heard by an intermediate people’s court.

4. Annual Private Legal Counsel: A Lower-Entry Service Option

Fees

  • RMB X for six months
  • RMB X for one year

Service Delivery

Upgrade Option

If the client later needs to upgrade to a full-scope service, she can pay the difference in fees.
